Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is popular for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born on 22 April 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents, who were also missionaries themselves, took him to many trips during his early time. His father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment while his mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. Baker along with his father and their aunt moved between Denver in the direction of Denver. Others in the community would bully Baker because of his poverty. After he was in the sixth grade, Baker started paying attention to hip-hop. Colson Kelly (also called Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April in 1990, Texas. He has been credited with combining hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock music into his songs. Baker was the author of four mixtapes during 2007- 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. At the end of 2011 this Cleveland rapper became a household name as he made the switch from self-releasing his mixtapes into signing with an established label. From there his career skyrocketed with every one of his albums being ranked in the top 10.
