Amanda Elizabeth Righetti (born Amanda Elizabeth Righetti) is an American actor and producer. She gained fame for portraying special agent Grace Van Pelt in CBS Police procedural drama The Mentalist. Righetti was from the state of Utah, Utah born native, has always dreamed of being a performer. When she was four years young, she began to dance. Love and Happiness marked her large-screen debut in 1995. Her debut on the tiny screen by appearing as a guest actor in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Righetti started off her modeling career at fourteen years of age. Her role in The Mentalist from 2008-2015 was well-received by critics. Righetti recently portrayed Madeline Kenner, in USA Networks"science fiction" show Colony.
